Why join the Public Service team?
“Besides the pay and benefits, we offer a team atmosphere, supportive managers and energetic co-workers,” says Public Service Deputy Director Chris Webster.

Starting entry-level pay – about $18 an hour

The City pays for employees to earn a Class A Commercial Driver License – valued at $5,000 to $10,000

Within a year, employees earn their CDL, and their pay increases to $19 an hour
•
Paid vacation time off and 11 paid holidays
•
City pensions and longevity bonuses for longer-term employees
Predictable hours

40-hour work weeks – with weekends off, for most employees
