GRANTS
The Neighborhood Small Grants Program provides competitive grants to neighborhood organizations in the city. The goal of the program is to improve the quality of life in the neighborhood while building the capacity of the neighborhood organization to better serve the community. To be eligible to apply for a grant through this program, a representative from your organization must attend one of the three mandatory pre-application workshops. If you would like someone from the Office of Neighborhood Empowerment to review your Grant Application for completeness, it needs to be in our office by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025.
All final Neighborhood Small Grants applications are due by Monday, July 21, 2025 by 4:30 p.m.
NEIGHBORHOOD RESOURCE FAIR
Office of Neighborhood Empowerment will be hosting a Neighborhood Resource Fair on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at the Jacob Building in Chilhowee Park, 401 Lakeside Street.
The Neighborhood Resource Fair helps Knoxville neighbors get the opportunity to learn about all of the resources they have within city government, county government, and non-profit organizations. It is a half day filled with networking, time to see friends, time to enjoy some great conversations, and collaborations with others.
