The City of Knoxville’s Purchasing Division held its first supplier awards ceremony in 2016, recognizing excellence and outstanding performance in contracting, as well as recognizing City departments committed to supplier outreach in procurement.
The 10th Annual Supplier Excellence Awards Ceremony was held on September 25, 2025 in the Marble Hall Chapel at Lakeshore Park. After a light breakfast at 8 a.m., the presentation of the awards began at 8:30 a.m.
The ceremony recognized businesses and individuals for outstanding performance in helping the City meet one, or more, of its five stated priorities during the procurement process. The City also recognized City departments who excelled in supplier outreach.
