The Wrecker Services Commission provides a committee to monitor compliance of the wrecker services contract.


APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSION MEMBERS

The Commission is composed of the wrecker inspector, a representative from the Fleet Management department and three consumer representatives appointed by the mayor and approved by council. A representative from the City Law Department and the Internal Auditor for City Council will serve on the commission in a non-voting advisory capacity.

Terms are for two years, and the Mayor appoints members subject to City Council confirmation. In the event of a vacancy in an unexpired term, a new member may be appointed only for the unexpired portion of the term.


MEETINGS SCHEDULE

Commission meets as needed. The next meeting is set for Oct. 15, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in Room 461 of the City County Building.
