Event/Seasonal Temporary Recreation Employment includes part-time, hourly, at-will, seasonal positions such as recreation assistant, summer jobs, lifeguards, umpires/referees, scorekeepers, bus drivers, etc.  You can apply for these positions directly with Parks & Recreation, as they are not posted on the City of Knoxville Civil Service employment site.  Applicants must complete I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification and must bring proper documentation (click for list with more information on approved identification [PDF]). Greenway Ranger / Americorps - This position is an opportunity to build your reesume with experience in park and trail maintenance, land management and data management.  Sharpen GIS skills and build public engagement skills through participation in civic events and volunteer activities, focused on getting people outside, active and connected in their public parks and trails. Click here for more information & to apply.
