A public meeting for Cal Johnson Recreation Center renovations will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Cal Johnson Recreation Center, 507 Hall of Fame Drive.
City Parks and Recreation officials and consultants from Community Tectonics Architects will give a presentation for potential renovation options to the Cal Johnson Recreation Center.
$550,000 has been set aside for renovations, which are slated to begin in 2019.
The building, which currently hosts after school and K.O.R.E. Camp youth programs, youth and adult basketball leagues, and an open weight room, was originally constructed in 1957.
