The star of popular PBS Kids program “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood” will be making a special appearance to meet fans at Zoo Knoxville on Saturday, April 22, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
In addition to meeting Daniel Tiger, visitors may also take photo with the show’s neighborhood trolley, make a tiger craft, listen to professional storytellers courtesy of Knox County Public Library and meet ambassador animals.
After making a new friend with Daniel Tiger, visitors are encouraged to meet the zoo’s resident Malayan tigers Arya, Bashir and Tanvir while exploring the newly opened Tiger Forest habitat.
The opportunity to meet Daniel Tiger and all related activities are included with general zoo admission.
