The Knoxville Fire Department Citizens Academy is a hands-on, interactive five-week program that provides community members with an inside look at how the fire department operates.
Participants will learn about:
• Fire Suppression
• Emergency Medical Services
• Rescue Operations
• Specialized Teams
• Community Risk Reduction Initiatives
The academy emphasizes education, engagement, and realistic demonstrations —offering participants a glimpse into the skills, training, and commitment required to serve the City of Knoxville.
CERTIFICATION
At the conclusion of the academy, all participants will receive
American Heart Association CPR Certification.
