Meet Betsy Cunningham!
She’s the City’s new Director of Human Resources, taking on the role after Dr. Kelly Drummond announced her departure to join the national office of the Boys and Girls Club.
Prior to joining the City, Betsy worked as a consultant with UT’s Municipal Technical Advisory Service (MTAS) for six years. Her experience also extends to banking and public schools, and she is a longtime volunteer with the United Way of Greater Knoxville.
“I see the primary purpose of my role is to ensure employees feel supported, heard and valued, and in whatever way possible create a positive, responsive workplace where everyone can do their best work.”
