      New Day of Service Benefit Starting July 1, 2026


      • The Day of Service is a paid volunteer leave program that will go into effect July 1. 

      • Employees can sign up to 8 hours a year of volunteer service at approved non-profits. 

      • Once approved, you can take those hours as paid volunteer leave on your time-card. 

      • Log on to the Volunteer Center to see the list of approved non-profits.

      • Once you choose an activity, you must submit your pre-approval form at least 2 weeks before the scheduled date of service. 

      • Don't see your favorite non-profit listed… let Human Resources know, they will consider additions to the list annually.
