The mission of the Diversity Business Advisory Committee (DBAC) is to advise the City in the development of, and assistance with, the implementation of initiatives that increase the amount of business the City does with Diversity Business Enterprise (DBEs).
APPOINTMENT OF COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Members of the Diversity Business Advisory Committee are appointed by the Mayor and meet every other month. Members serve staggered terms and consist of representatives from the Knoxville business community.
MEETINGS SCHEDULE
The DBAC meets quarterly on the first month of the quarter (Jan., Apr., July, Oct.). The meetings are held on a Wednesday from 8:30-10:00 a.m. in the Community Room at the Public Works Service Center at 3131 Morris Avenue (unless otherwise noted).
