CITY COUNCILWOMAN GWEN MCKENZIE INTENDS TO MOTION TO POSTPONE A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE SALE AND DEVELOPMENT OF CITY PROPERTY TO EMERALD YOUTH FOUNDATION
In order to provide her colleagues on City Council, community members, and herself more time to listen to questions, suggestions, and concerns, Councilwoman McKenzie intends to motion to postpone the following agenda item for two weeks:
A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Purchase and Development Agreement with Emerald Youth Foundation for the development of certain real property located on the south side of Magnolia Avenue bounded by Beaman Street, Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, and Alice Street in order to serve youth and families throughout east Knoxville and the broader community by providing educational enrichment, sports, wellness and other activities.
