Longevity Pay

	Longevity Pay

The City of Knoxville provides longevity pay to permanent / regular full-time uniformed and non-uniformed employees at the beginning of the calendar year in which four continuous years of service is reached.

The annual benefit equals $120 multiplied by the number of years beyond the first four years, capped at 20 credited years, for a maximum annual benefit of $2,400.

The payment is made in equal biweekly installments and is added to the hourly rate.
