Starting January 1, 2026, active employees in Pension Plan H who were hired after January 1, 2013, will
get a matching contribution from the City when they put money into their Deferred Compensation Plan.
To get this match, you must contribute a percentage of your pay instead of a flat dollar amount.
The City will match 1% after your first year,
2% after your second year,
and 3% after three or more years.

Empower account and choose the percentage you want to save.
