Meet Jim Johnson!
He’s been an attorney in the City’s Law Department for 23 years.
When asked what he does for the City, he answers, “I turn your work comp woes into a check.” He also provides support for the City during Public Hearings.
Jim won two Golden Biscuit awards at the late great International Biscuit Festival, for which he also wrote this snappy tune, "Biscuits in the Front, Party in the Back."

performed it on WBIR’s Live at 5 at 4 to promote the festival in 2013.
Continuing to prove that your colleagues are full of surprises, Jim is the captain of the City League basketball team, The Juggernauts. And, he admits, with less chagrin than you might expect from a licensed practitioner of the law:
“As a coach and player, I have been ejected from most of the City’s finest gymnasiums for simply pointing out a referee’s mistake.”
