E-911 DISPATCH RECORDS

These records fall under the Knox County E-911 Emergency Communications District.

FIRE RECORDS

Fire code violations, storage tanks, hazardous materials, etc. fall under the Knoxville Fire Department's Fire Marshal’s office. Contact [email protected] for more information.

MCGHEE TYSON AIRPORT RECORDS

These records are handled by the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority (MKAA). The City of Knoxville is not the custodian of McGhee Tyson Airport records. Please redirect your inquiry to the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority, which manages the airport.

NEIGHBORHOOD CODES VIOLATIONS

The Neighborhood Codes Enforcement Office handles neighborhood codes violations, such as citations for overgrown lots or abandoned vehicles.

POLICE RECORDS

Police reports, videos, photos, etc. fall under the Knoxville Police Department.

PROPERTY RECORDS

If you are seeking property records - information such as permits, zonings, variances, certificates of occupancy, open codes violations or environmental assessments, these records fall under the City's Development Services Department. If you have questions, call 865-215-3669. You may want to call prior to filing your request, to make certain all the information you're needing is available and to clarify what your fee would be. Development Services generally charges a $50 fee for creating a report on a particular property or address.

UTILITY RECORDS

The City of Knoxville does not offer utility services (water, sewer, electric, etc.), nor is the City the legal custodian of those utility records. The Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) provides utility services to a multi-county area, and the City of Knoxville is just a part of KUB's service area
