About the African American Equity Restoration Task Force (AAERTF)
The African American Equity Restoration Task Force (AAERTF) is committed to addressing the long-standing disparities that have impacted Knoxville’s Black community. Through focused investment and intentional collaboration, AAERTF works to restore and build generational equity in areas where systemic harm has taken a toll. We created this resource bank to serve as a guide for individuals, families, and organizations seeking support, tools, and opportunities across five key equity areas. Our goal is to connect the community with existing resources and help uplift the people of Knoxville through increased access and empowerment.
