Kid A’Riffic Fun in the Park is back for another sun‑filled summer!
Each Wednesday through June and July, families with children ages 2–12 are invited from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. to a different City park for free hands-on crafts, games, and playful experiences.
This year’s lineup is bigger than ever, including
Rick Hubbard’s world-famous Kazoobie Kazoo Show and interactive booths from City departments like Parks & Recreation and the Knoxville Fire Department.
What began in 2019 on Market Square has grown into one of the region’s top family events, recently recognized as Best Children’s Event by local publications.
Remaining 2025 Schedule:
June 25 – Ijams Nature Center
July 9 – West Hills Park
July 16 – Adair Park
July 23 – World’s Fair Park
No registration needed.
Just bring your creativity and sense of adventure!
Earlier this summer, Safety City welcomed a very special guest: Mayor Carter! With a big smile and boundless energy, he greeted kids, gave high-fives, and showcased the fun of Kid A’Riffic, from karaoke and bubbles to gaga ball and mini football. His visit made one thing clear: being a kid in Knoxville is serious fun.
