Greenway commuters and patrons should be aware that a portion of Third Creek Greenway will be closed on Friday, July 27, from 7 a.m. to approximately 6 p.m. for utility repair work.
The section that will be closed falls between Painter Avenue and the Sequoyah Greenway connector behind the Church of Laurel Christ, located at 3457 Kingston Pike.
Commuters should use an alternative route of either Kingston Pike or Sutherland Avenue to reach Concord Street (where you can pick up back on Third Creek Greenway via Tyson Park).
