History is making a stop near you! The East Tennessee Historical Society, in partnership with Knox County Public Library, is sending out a traveling show highlighting images from its signature exhibition, Voices of the Land: The People of East Tennessee.

Consisting of up to 20 panels, the traveling exhibition offers a glimpse of the Museum of East Tennessee History's rich and varied offerings, including hundreds of images, more than 600 artifacts and 350 historic quotes. Together, it presents an unparalleled glimpse into over three centuries of the East Tennessee story.

"We are very pleased to be able to highlight parts of our history in neighborhoods around Knox County," noted Cherel Hendersen, Executive Director of the East Tennessee Historical Society. "Of course we want people to get the full story at the Museum, but by offering a portion of the exhibit, we think people will learn about our collective history and want to know more."
