The Energy and Sustainability Task Force will meet at 9 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 11 in the East Tennessee History Center Auditorium.
Discussion topics will include a re-cap of the curbside recycling presentation delivered at the December 10th Council Workshop and an update on where the City currently stands with its Energy & Sustainability Initiative.
Updates will include information on the Solar America Cities Program, Energy Savings Performance contract status, the new energy efficient streetlights on Wall Avenue, and the new energy block grant awarded to the City by the Department of Energy in September 2009.
All task force meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend.
