The City of Knoxville Parks & Recreation Department is excited about a summer filled with fun, friends, and amazing experiences. Summer Camp is offered for children ages 6-12 years old at nine (9) community centers located across the city and one site with a teen camp for kids age 12-16 years old.

The Knoxville Outdoor Recreation Experience (KORE) program spans over 7 weeks in June and July (excluding June 19 and the week of July 3-7) and provides a wide variety of recreational activities while at the Center and includes field trips to outdoor pools and local attractions, such as Main Event, NASCAR Speedpark, Kentucky Splash Waterpark, and others. Breakfast/lunch or lunch/snack served each day.

Click here to watch a video on how to submit payment for the weekly fee. (Video shows process on computer.  On a cell phone, your page begins on Dashboard, so scroll down to see "My Enrollments", find the Summer Camp, click the three dots in bottom right corner "..." then click "Add Events".  Click the weeks to pay for then proceed to checkout.)

Weekly fee is due by the Friday before.
For example, pay by Friday, June 16th for Week 3 (June 19-23)

Please check your email for direct link for formal registration

Emails to those pre-registered have been sent through our system.  If you did not receive this email, please check your spam/junk folder, log in to your account to make sure your email address is correct and that you are “subscribed” to receive emails, so you don’t miss any emails in the future. If you unsubscribe you will not receive notifications about registration or during the camp.

• Forms to Complete - During the registration process, you must complete all “Forms”, many of which are required in order to advance to the next page and complete the registration process. Forms / Documentation Overview [PDF]

Additional weeks can be paid now or can be paid throughout the summer by the Friday prior to the week of the camp. • Authorized Pickups - Please add Authorized Pickups to your account and review what you may have already submitted.

• Subscribe to Emails - Please make sure that your account is “subscribed” to receive emails as you may receive information by email (for instance, if a bus is stuck in traffic and the group may not be back to the Center by 4pm)

• Registration Details - You MAY ONLY register your child at the location where they were pre-registered. All sites will be visible for registration at the link below if you are pre-registered at any site, however if you register your child at a different site than where you are pre-registered, we will manually move your child to the site where the child is pre-registered. No exceptions. Please only Formally Register a child at one site. Many are pre-registered at multiple sites, tying up spots from others.

• Direct Link -  Click here for a direct link to start the Formal Registration Process. Make sure you are signed in and have selected your child’s name as who you are registering. Click “Camps” then select the Site where you have pre-registered (for instance Deane Hill – Summer Camp – FORMAL REGISTRATION). It will say “Priority only” so you can only proceed if you are pre-registered.

Computers are available at each community center to use, if needed.
