HOMELESS AGENCY GRANTS
Beginning February 1, 2023, the City of Knoxville is taking applications for 2023-2024 Homeless Grants (HUD Emergency Solutions Grant and City Homeless General Funds) funds for programs beginning July 1, 2023. The Homeless Grants application will remain open until 12:00 PM (noon) on February 22, 2023.
Attendance at one of two Homeless Grants Technical Assistance Workshops is mandatory (see Important Dates below). The workshops will be held at the Public Works Service Center Meeting Room - 3131 Morris Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37909.
All applications must be submitted in Zoom Grants. Assistance with Zoom Grants is available (see Zoom Grants Office Hours below). NOTE: You must create a Zoom Grants account to apply. If you already have a Zoom Grants account, log in before following the link below.

IMPORTANT WORKSHOP DATES
Mandatory Technical Assistance (TA) Workshops will be held at the Public Works Service Center Meeting Room - 3131 Morris Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37909. Applicants will have two opportunities to attend the workshops and must attend one to learn about important program requirements and application elements for the grant for which they are applying.

HOME - HOME Investment Partnerships Grant
The
HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) provides formula grants to states and localities to fund a wide range of activities including building, buying, and/or rehabilitating affordable housing for rent or homeownership or providing direct rental assistance to
low-income people.

ESG - Emergency Solutions Grant
The
ESG program helps individuals and families quickly regain stability in permanent housing after experiencing a housing crisis or homelessness. Activities must fall into five specific component categories: Rapid Rehousing, Homelessness Prevention, Street Outreach, or Emergency Shelter and Services.
