Welcome to our video series on building business relationships with local and state government agencies!  This video series is the collaborative effort of the University of Tennessee, the City of Knoxville, and Knox County Government. 

If your business is a minority-owned, women-owned, or small business, you will find this information to be especially helpful. 

We want to provide you with information and resources that will help you get connected and be successful in doing business with local government agencies.  The purpose of this series is not to provide specific information on doing business with a particular agency, but to share basic, general information that can be applied to your business relationships with any local government agency.  

As we move through the series, we will compare the process of building business relationships with the process of building a home.

We will discuss planning and creating a blueprint, laying a foundation, understanding the framework, building the infrastructure, and moving in to grow and engage your business.
