Directions: Go east on Magnolia Avenue, turn right on to S. Bertrand Avenue, go 2 blocks and turn left onto Linden Avenue. Park is on the right.


William Powell Park

William Powell Park, located in East Knoxville, provides recreational opportunities with a playground, shelter, basketball court, and open space. Picnic tables and a shelter also provided the perfect place for family picnics.


HISTORY OF THE PARK

The park is named in honor of William Powell who served on City Council for the 6th District from 1990 to 1997.

PARK RULES & REGULATIONS

1.) For the protection of our park and the safety of its users, the following are prohibited:
  • No alcoholic beverages
  • No open fires
  • No hitting golf balls anywhere in the park
  • No motorized vehicles in park
  • No equestrian activity
2.) Per city ordinance, all animals must be maintained on a leash.
3.) Please be respectful of other trail users.
4.) Please help to keep our parks beautiful by disposing trash in proper receptacles.
5.) Hours - Open dawn to dusk unless otherwise posted.
