Drive-in at the Midway

Drive-In at the Midway at Chilhowee Park is returning for two screenings this Fall! Drive-In at the Midway is free, but reservations are required.

Our Fall lineup includes four Fridays in October:
October 1: "The Karate Kid" (PG, 2010)
October 8: "Raya and the Last Dragon" (PG, 2021)
October 22: "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" (PG-13, 2017)
October 29: "Coco" (PG, 2017)

All movies are PG-13 or less, but parents are encouraged to check the parental guides for their families.

Gates open at 6:00 p.m., and movies begin at 7:30 p.m. Vehicles should enter at Gate 13, located on N. Beaman Street, between Magnolia and Martin Luther King Jr. avenues.

We are pleased to partner with the Knox County Public Library to present Drive-In at the Midway, Fall Edition. The drive-in format allows attendees to watch movies on the big screen while maintaining pandemic protocols. Each vehicle may bring in the number of passengers for which it is rated--one per seatbelt. Each space includes an adjacent parking space to accommodate blankets or lawn chairs. Guests will need an FM radio to receive the film's audio from an FM transmitter.

New for Fall 2021, we will reserve the first few rows for moviegoers who want to bring chairs and blankets to enjoy the movie! Designated spots will still be available for guests to drive in and park.

Reservations will not be required for the Fall 2021 Drive-In.

Sponsors
Additional support for the screenings comes from: Chilhowee Park and Exposition Center; Friends of the Library, which will distribute books to attendees; Visit Knoxville; and B97.5.
