Mayor Bill Haslam will host a community meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 29 to provide information regarding utility and sidewalk construction in the Bearden area.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at West High School, 3300 Sutherland Ave.
Topics to be addressed include the timeline and associated impact of the replacing a water main at Kingston Pike and the status of the Bearden Village Trip Reduction Project.
Maps and detailed information will also be available about specific aspects of the projects, including easements the city must acquire to begin sidewalk construction.
Speakers will include representatives of the city of Knoxville and KUB.
