KUB has closed both northbound lanes of traffic on a section of Chapman Highway between Young High Pike and Moody Avenue and the closures will last until late this afternoon, Friday, March 16.
A water main break occurred at 4200 Chapman Highway on Friday morning and is the cause of the lane closure.
The center turn lane will be used for northbound traffic only. Both southbound lanes of traffic, as well as access to area businesses, will remain open while this work is completed.
Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction. Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place at each location to assist motorists traveling in these areas. Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use extreme caution and expect temporary delays in these areas.
