TN Theatre Offers Sneak Peek

Posted: 04/25/2005
The Tennessee Theatre will host its second Community Open House of 2005 on Monday, April 25, from 5pm - 8pm. The Theatre's first Community Open House, held the day after its grand opening on January 16, drew a crowd of more than 5,000 people.

This free Open House provides Knoxvillians an opportunity to see the magnificence of the $23.5 million renovation. Information about the restoration will be posted throughout the Theatre and select backstage areas. Theatre staff will be on hand to answer questions as visitors enjoy their self-guided tour.

To authenticate the Tennessee Theatre experience, Bill Snyder will entertain visitors at the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ. The newly renovated concession stand will also be open to serve visitors. The Community Open House event is sponsored by the Real Yellow Pages and Coca-Cola.
