Mardi Growl is an annual event held in downtown Knoxville that benefits the Young-Williams Animal Center.

Mardi Growl features a dog parade starting at Willow Ave. and ending with a pet party in Market Square. 

Each year hundreds of dogs converge on Downtown Knoxville to prance in the parade and show off their stylish costumes. It's a wildly entertaining event for dog owners and dog lovers.


Mardi Growl 2018Pre-Registration:
$15 per dog, ends at 11:59 pm on Feb. 27, 2018

Registration on day of event:
$20, starts at 9 am at Willow Ave, in the Old City, and ends at 10:45 am.

Parade Starts:
11 am at Willow Ave, in the Old City

Parade Route:
Willow Ave., right on S. Central St., left on W. Jackson Ave., left on S. Gay St., and then right to Market Square.

Parade Prizes:
 Parade Prizes & Awards for Best Costume, Best Dog Couple, Dog/Owner Look Alike & more!

Pet Party:
12 pm-3 pm at Market Square and Krutch Park
