CITY ADULT BASKETBALL LEAGUES

The City offers adult basketball leagues during the summer (June-August) and winter (December-February).  Recreation, Competitive, and a Women's league are offered.


WINTER 2018-19 ADULT BASKETBALL INFORMATION

Team Registration Begins:
Monday, October 29th
Team Registration Ends: Friday, November 23rd
Team Registration Fees: $350 per team
League Play Begins: Sunday, December 2nd
League's Offered:
Men's "Rec" League - Sundays at Cal Johnson
Men's "Rec" League - Tuesdays at Milton Roberts
Men's "Rec" League - Wednesdays at Deane Hill
Men's "Rec" League - Wednesdays at Cumberland Estates
Women's "Rec" League - Sundays T.B.D.

Interested in playing but don't have a team?  Contact us!

Please contact Nathan Nease at 865-215-1718 or nnease@knoxvilletn.gov to add your name to the Free Agent List.  Please provide contact information,previous playing experience, positions played, days available to play,etc. 


Outdoor Basketball Courts

The City offers outdoor basketball courts at 20 parks.  Outdoor courts are open for play dawn to dusk.


Youth Basketball Information
The City partners with local youth sports organizations who oversee the community-based teams in the many neighborhoods in Knoxville.  The City's recreational youth basketball season is played in the winter (November-February) at rec center and school gymnasiums around the City.  Players are encouraged to participate with the local commission to build friendships and foster character-building activities while also developing athletic skills in the youth recreational basketball leagues.
