Ribbon Cutting for Loves Creek Greenway Aug. 1

Posted: 07/31/2013
Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero and Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett will hold a ribbon cutting for the Loves Creek Greenway on Thursday, August 1 at Spring Place Park located at 5201 Parker Dr.

Loves Creek Greenway is located within the City limits and begins at the Knox County-owned Spring Place Park. Built in-house by City of Knoxville crews, the trail is approximately a half-mile of crushed limestone and is the first phase for the greenway plan that will eventually reach from Spring Place to New Harvest Park.

If attending the ribbon cutting, you are asked to park at the Texas Roadhouse Restaurant located at 3701 Kinzel Way, due to limited parking. A shuttle will be provided to the greenway.
