Knoxville Police Department crash reconstruction investigators are investigating a fatal crash that occurred late Saturday night on Kingston Pike.
At around 10:25 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022, KPD officers responded to a crash involving a motorcycle on Kingston Pike at Huxley Road. The motorcyclist, a 33-year-old man, was transported to the UT Medical Center, where he died as a result of his injuries.
The preliminary investigation showed that the motorcycle pulled onto Kingston Pike when it was struck by a Honda sedan that was traveling on Kingston Pike. The Honda sedan remained on scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Knoxville Police Department at this time.
