City's 311 Call Center staff recognized on National 311 Day 

311 Day

Today - March 11, or 3-11 - is National 311 Day.


Since its launch on May 5, 2005, the City of Knoxville's 311 Center has handled  over 2 million calls.
311 is Knoxville's phone number for information and help regarding City services.  


The City's 311 Call Center staff last year responded to over 200,000 calls for help or information. Of those, more than 40,000 calls led to a service request - a report of a code violation to be investigated, for example, or maybe a request for a pothole patch.
