Think Pink! City Employees Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month

City employees traded Orange for Pink  on Thursday For "Pink Tie Day." October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and several City employees and departments supported the cause by donning their best pink gear.

Statistics show that 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer during their lifetime. In addition to wearing pink throughout the month of October, a team of City employees known as the Knoxville Knockers will be participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on October 24, 2015.
