East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers is Growing Again

Posted: 05/18/2021
Crime StoppersThe East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers program makes it easier than ever to track Knoxville’s wanted fugitives, read about featured and unsolved crimes, and help find missing persons through social media.

On May 5, 2021 the City of Knoxville and the Knoxville Police Department joined the East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers board of directors to unveil the East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers program. By the end of the first day Crime Stoppers had received 7 tips and within 10 days Crime Stoppers received its first tip that lead to an arrest.

Fast-forward a few days to May 13th, twitter.com/tn_crime was introduced, then the following week, on Monday, May 17th East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers launched the facebook.com/EastTennesseeValleyCrimeStoppers page.

Now there are three ways to keep up with the East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers program:

• Website at easttnvalleycrimestoppers.org
• Twitter at twitter.com/tn_crime
• Facebook at facebook.com/easttennesseevalleycrimestoppers.

Join East TN Valley Crime Stoppers in making our communities safe for everyone by following us on Twitter and Facebook, and keep up with the latest featured crimes, unsolved cases, missing persons and East Tennessee’s wanted fugitives.

Crime Stoppers enables citizens to work with law enforcement to make their communities safer by anonymously sharing information about crimes, criminal activity and the location of wanted fugitives.

TALK, TYPE, or TAP your tip to Crime Stoppers and if your tip leads to an arrest you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
