Reward Offered For Information On Suspects Wanted In Teen Homicides (FBI Knoxville Field Office)
FBI Special Agent in Charge Joseph Carrico announced up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects wanted in connection to the February shooting deaths of 16-year-old Stanley Freeman, Jr. and 15-year-old Janaria Muhammad. Both teens were students at Austin-East Magnet High School.

Special Agent in Charge Joseph Carrico said, “The FBI is committed to working closely with the Knoxville Police Department to make sure those bringing violence to our streets are held accountable. This reward is just one of many tools available that we will utilize in partnership with KPD to ensure our community remains safe for our citizens.”

The Knoxville Police Department continues to seek tips from the public that would assist in identifying, locating, and arresting those responsible for the death of these young victims. Anyone with information can submit tips to the Knoxville Police Department’s crime tip line at 865-215-7212, via email [email protected], or anonymously at https://knoxvilletn.gov/crimetips.
