Dream, Dream, Dream: City Names Everly Brothers Park
Did you know Bearden now has a park named for the Everly Brothers? Did you know Don and Phil Everly were both students at West High School in the early 1950s?
You can learn more about the new park, and fundraising efforts for it,
right here
. Below you can see a conceptual plan for the park drawn up by the
East Tennessee Community Design Center
. For more information, or to get involved, contact Bearden Council at
[email protected]
or 865-454-9475.
For a full account of the Everlys' years in Knoxville, check out this
great archival story from Metro Pulse
