KPD Investigating After Two Found Dead at Graves Street Home
Victims Found Dead in Graves Street Home Identified (November 29, 2022, 4:55 p.m.)
The victims who were found dead from apparent gunshot wounds inside of the Graves Street home on Sunday morning have been identified as Ashley Green, 38 of Knoxville, and D’Edward Green, 35 of Knoxville.
Medical examiners with the Regional Forensic Center have not yet made a ruling regarding the cause and manner of the victims’ deaths. The incident is believed to be domestic related and not connected to any other recent incidents in Knoxville.
The Knoxville Police Department Violent Crimes Unit is continuing its investigation at this time.

At around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2022, Knoxville Police Department officers were dispatched to a home in the 900 block of Graves Street in response to a call that two people were unresponsive in the home. Officers arrived on scene and located a man and woman inside of the home, both dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
KPD Violent Crimes Unit investigators and Crime Lab personnel as well as the Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene. There is not believed to be any risk to the public.
The bodies of the victims were transported to the Regional Forensic Center for further examination.
The investigation is in the early stages at this time. Additional information will be released as the investigation progresses.
