The Knoxville Police Department is investigating a fatal pedestrian-involved, hit-and-run crash that happened Saturday night on Magnolia Avenue.
At around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022, KPD officers responded to the 2800 block of Magnolia Avenue, where a man was reportedly struck while crossing the road by a vehicle that fled the scene. The victim, who has still not been successfully identified, was transported to the UT Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
