With the new year, come new beginnings!

We are pleased to introduce new, ongoing classes for children and adults where you can try different techniques, bring friends together for a fun activity out, or just treat yourself with a creative break. This winter, whatever the day, whatever the month, you are not far from an art class to enrich your week!

Here at the Craft Center, we are welcoming several new instructors, and we can't wait to introduce you. Marianne Gansley will be sharing her techniques to create up-cycled jewelry. Lindsey Worthington will share her knowledge of digital photography and editing, and Hyoung Yon Kim will guide you into the world of hand and machine sewing .

We have two new dance instructors, Kari Sanders who will introduce us to hip-hop dance and Tasha Alaba Mitchell who will be teaching African dance.

We also have some very special events to share with you in the upcoming seasons.

Exhibiting January through March will be Fiber and Ceramic artist, Karen Briggs and woodworking artist, Jeff Lane from River Rock Studios. Join us for an Artist's Reception on Friday, February 3rd from 5:30– 8:00.

Exhibiting April through June will be Nashville based painter Catrina Long. Join us for a First Friday Artist's Reception on April 7th from 5:30– 8:00.

Hope to see you!
