Directions: Take the Broadway exit off of I-640 and go north about a mile and a half; the park will then be on the left.


Fountain City Park

Fountain City Park is not owned by the City of Knoxville, but is owned, operated and maintained by the Lion's Club. Click here to learn more about the City's improvements to the Fountain City Lake.

A natural spring resides in the park, which flows into First Creek. Fountain City Greenway circumvents the park's amenities, including shelters, a playground, a basketball court, and a large open space.

RESERVE BUILDING OR GAZEBO

Fountain City Park and its building and gazebo are owned, operated and maintained by the Lion's Club. Contact the Lion's Club at 865-740-9910. You can reserve the building or gazebo online at these links:

PARK RULES & REGULATIONS

1.) For the protection of our park and the safety of its users, the following are prohibited:
  • No alcoholic beverages
  • No open fires
  • No hitting golf balls anywhere in the park
  • No motorized vehicles in park
  • No equestrian activity
2.) Per city ordinance, all animals must be maintained on a leash.
3.) Please be respectful of other trail users.
4.) Please help to keep our parks beautiful by disposing trash in proper receptacles.
5.) Hours - Open dawn to dusk unless otherwise posted.
