Give A Day Knoxville
City of Knoxville Employees can volunteer to deliver Mobile Meals Sept. 5-8.

Volunteer Sign-Up
Mayor Rogero is offering staff the opportunity to directly participate in the Volunteer East Tennessee Give-a-Day Campaign. We are partnering with Mobile Meals to allow staff to sign up to deliver meals on the four work days of the Mayor’s Week of Service, September 5, 6, 7, and 8.

With supervisory approval
, regular full-time employees can volunteer (on the clock) with Mobile Meals to deliver mid-day meals to seniors in Knoxville who cannot cook for themselves and have no one to prepare meals for them. All volunteers will be required to attend a short informational meeting the day of delivery. Each person should plan three – four hours of time for this volunteer opportunity.

Interested full-time employees must sign up to volunteer by completing the form at Day of Service Sign-Up.

You must have supervisory approval before you sign up.

Your supervisor will receive an email after you sign up to notify them of your interest. If you do not have access to a computer, you may call 311 to sign up. Mobile Meals needs about 15-20 volunteers each day. There are more than 60 delivery routes every day and 2 volunteers serve each route. In addition, staff can volunteer, off the clock, anytime during that week and submit their time to Volunteer East TN.
