Zoo Knoxville Hosts Pokémon Play Day Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016

Posted: 08/26/2016
Zoo Knoxville is hosting Pokémon Play Day on Saturday, August 27 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.  Specially-priced $10 tickets are available with advanced purchase online.

From 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., lures will be set up throughout the park to attract more Pokémon to the zoo’s 15 Pokéstops.  Guests can also create a Pikachu-themed craft and meet Pikachu, too.

There will also be a team contest for the three gyms on zoo grounds. At 5:00 p.m., players on the Pokémon team that holds the most gyms-Mystic, Instinct or Valor- will be entered in a random prize drawing.

Attendees who purchase tickets online in advance can take advantage of specially-priced $10 zoo tickets.  Tickets can be purchased via the Zoo Knoxville Facebook page at facebook.com/zooknoxville and clicking on the Pokémon Play Day event.

Pokemon Play Day $10 tickets must be purchased online in advance; discounted tickets will not be available at the ticket window.   Discounted tickets are valid all day on Saturday, August 27 only.  They cannot be combined with any other ticket or offer.
