Due to utility maintenance, KUB will have lane closures on Deane Hill Drive and East Jackson Avenue on April 29.

(West Knoxville) Deane Hill Drive Lane Closure [April 29] – KUB crews will reduce a short section of Deane Hill Drive to one alternating lane of traffic between Royal Crown Drive and Gerald R. Ford Street from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., on Friday, April 29, as work is performed on the water distribution system in the area. The eastbound lane will be closed, while the westbound lane will remain open and be used to alternate traffic. Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic control. 

(Old City) East Jackson Avenue Lane Closure [April 29] – KUB contract crews will reduce a short section of E. Jackson Avenue to one alternating lane of traffic between S. Central Street and Morgan Street from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., Friday, April 29, as work is performed on the electric distribution system in the area. The eastbound lane will be closed, while the westbound lane will remain open and be used to alternate traffic. Flaggers will be on site to assist with traffic control. Tuesday, May 3, will be used as a rain date if necessary. 

Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction. Appropriate traffic control measures, including flagmen, will be in place at this location to assist motorists traveling in the area. Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use caution and expect temporary delays in this area.
