KUB and its contractor will reduce a short section of Sixth Avenue to one alternating lane of traffic the between Washington Avenue and McKenzie Place from 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily Monday- Friday, starting Wednesday, March 9, through Friday, March 25, as work is performed on the natural gas distribution system in the area.
The northbound lane will be closed while the southbound lane remains open and is used to alternate traffic. Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic.
Some listed closures may extend beyond the scheduled times depending on the conditions encountered during excavation and construction.
Appropriate traffic control measures, including flagmen, will be in place at this location to assist motorists traveling in the area.
Due to the ongoing presence of workers and equipment, motorists are advised to use extreme caution and expect temporary delays in this area.
