A public meeting on the expansion of the State Street parking garage will be held on Thursday, July 26 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the East Tennessee History Center at 601 S. Gay St.
Representatives from the City of Knoxville, the Public Building Authority, and the architects and construction contractor on the project will discuss plans for the upcoming expansion.
They will present renderings of the project, which includes an elevated walkway from the garage over State Street.
They will also answer questions from local residents, business owners, and anyone else interested in or affected by the work.
