Dogwood Arts Festival Market Square Art Fair This Weekend

Posted: 04/13/2012
One of Dogwood Arts Festival's most cherished traditions, the Market Square Art Fair, transforms downtown Knoxville into a lively street fair kicks off today and runs through Sunday, April 15. Complete with high-quality arts and crafts booths, demonstrations, entertainment and festive food, the art fair has something for everyone! Artisan Booths open Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Visit the children's stage for educational and entertaining performances. Also, your children will not want to miss a special art-making tent sponsored by the Knoxville Museum of Art! Stroll to the opposite end of Market Square and enjoy the main stage performances, which will be programmed daily with talented regional artists and musicians.

Be transported to wine country with tastings of Robert Mondavi and Constellation Wines paired with seasonal culinary fare created by some of Knoxville's local chefs. Be inspired and educated under a canopy of trees in a relaxing, intimate outdoor kitchen setting on Union Avenue. Admission is free.

A complete list of Market Square Art Fair artists, Market Square Stage talent line-up, Children's Stage entertainment, and Culinary Arts Stage chefs is available on www.dogwoodarts.com.MARKET SQUARE ART FAIR ARTISTS
