Annual City Chili Challenge for Employees

The City of Knoxville employees had their annual Chili Challenge to benefit the City's Charitable Campaign.

Channel 10's Erin Donovan "Darin' Erin," Vice Mayor Nick Pavlis, and Knoxville News Sentinel's food critic Mary Constantine were the official judges of the Grand Prize - The Coveted Chili Cauldron.

For a charge of $5 per person, City employees sampled and voted for the People's Choice Award and Best Presentation. Over $800 was raised for the City's Charitable Campaign.

2nd place - Community Development "Smurf-alicious Chili"

People's Choice - Best Chili / The Golden Ladle
1st place - KPD "Nuisance Chili"
2nd place - Engineering "No Dumping Chili"

People's Choice - Best Presentation / The Shiny Red Colander
1st place - Law "Redneck Chili"
2nd place - KPD "Nuisance Chili"
