Knoxville's Holidays on Ice in Historic Market Square

East Tennessee's coolest holiday tradition will soon return to the heart of downtown Knoxville in Historic Market Square to chill and thrill young and old alike! Presented by Regal Entertainment Group and Pilot Flying J, Knoxville's Holidays on Ice, is back by popular demand for the sixth season. The ice rink opens Friday, at 10 am, November 26 - the day after Thanksgiving - and will remain open through January 2, 2011.

Knoxville's Holidays on Ice will continue to feature weekly promotional nights, including Skate with the Ice Bears, free ice skating lessons sponsored by Cool Sports, B97.5's Brad & Ashley Night and DJ at the Rink on Friday nights.

In 2009, Knoxville's Holidays on Ice has welcomed more than 16,000 skaters and estimated spectators to downtown Knoxville and Market Square. For 2010, organizers expect to draw an additional 14,000 ice skaters, spectators and shoppers.

DATES OPEN:
Friday, November 26, 2010 through Sunday, January 2, 2011

HOURS OPEN:
Monday - Thursday 4 pm to 10 pm
Friday & Saturday 10 am to 10 pm
Sunday 1 pm to 10 pm
December 25th, Christmas Day opens at 2 pm

PRICES:
$10 Adults / $7 Children
(12 years & under) - includes entry fee, skate rental, TN sales tax and unlimited time on the ice! Season passes & group rates available. Special accommodations can be made for group outings or private parties. Packages are available and can be catered to fit your needs.

PARKING:
Parking is free at all city-owned garages after 6 pm on weekdays and throughout the weekend, except for specific special events. City-owned garages include the Locust Street garage, the State Street garage and the Market Square garage. There are plenty of surface lots and parking decks in downtown Knoxville available everyday. Most lots charge a nominal fee for parking. However, street parking in downtown Knoxville is free after 6 pm and on weekends.
